This documentary on Ninjutsu and Ninja focuses on demystifying the Ninja, in order to reveal a more historically accurate warrior.

The Last Night of the World

This is a short film adopted from a Ray Bradbury short story. A man and his wife sit on a swing outside of their house. The wife mentions a dream she had the night before. In the dream a voice tells her that the next day will be everyone’s last day on Earth. After telling her husband this, he says that he had the same dream. It becomes obvious that this is no coincidence and that it truly is the last night of the world. From here, the husband and the wife try to learn how to deal with their limited time left on an otherwise normal family night.

This was originally planned to be a much larger shoot but had a few drawbacks. This video features a bunch of cool kids in Shinjuku, Tokyo skating. They just had this little box set up right outside the train station. It was a lot of fun to shoot and I wish I could have gotten more.

Aikido

In this mini-documentary, Perry Lambert discusses his views on and the brief history of the martial art, Aikido. Ai means to blend, Ki means energy, and Do is the way; roughly, this translates into “the way of blending energy.” Aikido is a fascinating martial art because it is one of the most gentle. There are hardly any strikes. The main focus of Aikido is to deflect your opponent(s).
